Project Description
Construction of concrete Fish Screen Structure with motorized slide gate on sloped embankment of Alameda Creek with 200’ of 20’ deep pipeline containing a combination of fused 48” HDPE and epoxy coated WSP to allow for transfer of water from Alameda Creek to a concrete outlet structure at Shinn Pond
Construction of concrete Inlet Structure with motorized slide gate on embankment of Shinn Pond with 400’ of pipeline with a combination of 54” HDPE and epoxy coated WSP – 30’ deep, 220’ of 54” HDPE was installed by Jack & Bore underneath UPPR and BART tracks with a 20’ x 16’ x 35’ deep concrete Flowmeter Vault containing Flowmeter and motorized Knife Gate.
Completed facility allowed for the transfer of water from Shinn Pond to Stevenson Pond.
