Project Description
Major sewer trunk line installation on Cesar Chavez Street in San Francisco. Challenging project due to urban environment, existing subsurface utilities, depth of installation, and traffic control.
Installation of 6” through 84” Sewer VCP and RCP Pipe from 5’ to 30’ in depth with associated various sized concrete manhole structures. Cured in Place lining (CIP) of approx. 4000’ of existing brick 72” – 84” brick sewer with major bypass operation. Jack & Bore 360 LF of 72” RCP under Mission Street made more difficult due to the proximity of the existing BART tunnel.
